I woke
up from a deep sleep to the sound of, what seemed to be like a crash in my
backyard. I looked out my window to see an odd shaped figure. It was purple
with weird grey symbols and extremely large. I quickly got up, washed up, put
on clothes, and brushed my teeth.
By this
time I heard my back door open and the sound of computer noises started coming
to my ear. I went downstairs to come face to face with an alien??? -_^. I knew I looked scared because I could feel
my face getting red hot ---- I mean who wants to wake up with someone in their
house…especially an alien!
“He-ll-o.
I’m Sil-ky-44-4-59”, said one of the aliens.
“I am
Sh-i-ny98-90-9”, said the other.
“Hi…I’m…ummm…I’m
Beyanca”, I replied nervously.
“No
need to be ner-vous, we just want-to-know what Am-er-i-ca is like”, said the
aliens at the same time.
“Ummm
ok”, I sort of warmed up because America is my favorite topic to talk about for
some strange reason.
“So we
were won-der-ing if you could de-sc-ribe Am-er-i-ca in one word”, said
Sil-ky-44-4-59.
“Hmmm. Let’s
see. One word to describe America would be: emotional”, I replied.
"Can
you ple-ase ex-plain what you mean", they both said.
Realizing
that we were all still standing I offered them to take a seat. As we sat down I
began to think about how I could explain emotion to these fair Martians. Then I
thought about how I listen to music when I feel down, so I decided to describe emotion
with a few songs.
"Well”,
I began to say.
"America
is emotional because people feel different everyday all over the place. So
sometimes to cope with our emotions, some people write music and some listen to
music. One example is the song "I wished you loved me" by Tynisha
Keli.
This
song is about when you feel like you love someone but it’s hard to tell them
because you're afraid that they don’t feel the same; in the song it states
"I wanna say I love you so bad but I don’t wanna scare you away...please i
wish that you'll undestand..That I wanna be more than just your friend...I
wished you loved me.
People
all over that’s dating or falling for a close friend have these feelings and
may listen to music like this when they feel like this.
Another
example is the song called "I remember me" by Jennifer Hudson. In
this song it states "I remember me...staring at myself...see these same
two eyes...see these same two feet... i remember you. You who I used to be...
you still look the same...but you don’t hurt like me", this line basically
means that she has become someone that she didn’t intend to become and still
remembers herself from way back when.
People
might listen to similar songs like this or this song when they feel like they
have lost their selves and remember the person that they used to be. The one
that everyone seemed to like.
Last
but not least the songs by Chief Keef “Don’t Like” and “3hunna” are songs that
people might listen to, to get them going or hyped up. They basically talk
about violence and what they don’t like yet, it gets people going.
In
conclusion America is filed with plenty other emotions but these emotions are
the most people feel in everyday situations.
“Hope I
helped you out”, I said to them.
“You
did, thank-you”, they replied.
